Mickey Boo!

Hello and welcome,

Here comes a card with the cute Mickey figure made with dies from Spellbinders. I have been waiting a looong time for these dies to arrive in Sweden.

I am a Mickey and Minnie fan so these dies was an absolute must have. 🙂. With inspiration from Tim’s live with these dies and his free watercolor Christmas class together with Simon say stamps I made this shaker card.

I started with the Mickey figure. I colored different pieces of Watercolor cardstock with Distress inks, and cut out all the pieces. Inked all the edges with Scorched timber DI. Glued the pieces together with Distress collage medium. Then I stamped the pumpkin from CMS250 Mini bird crazy & things on Watercolor paper and colored it with Distress inks. Fuzzy cut the pumpkin and inked the edges.

Then I cut out a piece of Watercolor cardstock and die cut the “BOO!” word. I inked my craft sheet with Distress inks and sprayed some water. Dipped the paper, dried between layers until happy. Then I stamped the webs with Distress embossing ink and used black embossing powder. Heated with embossing gun. Inked the edges with Scorched timber DI.

I made a shaker card with inspiration from Tim’s Christmas class with Simon says stamp. I used die cut bats in my shaker card, (an inspiration from a friend). The eyes and highlight on the wings are made with a white Posca pen.

I inked the “BOO!” word with Distress inks and sprayed some water. Inked the edges and then glued it to the acetate. I also diecut a spider from black cardstock, gave him a pair of eyes with a white Posca pen and glued it to the card.

I adhered Mickey to the card with 3D foam for dimension. Then I mounted my card to a cardblank.

It was a very fun card to make!đŸ€—đŸ™‚
