Hello and welcome,
Today I have a tag to share. When Tim released the small tv-die I knew exactly what I was going to make!
Here is the result:
I used an Etcetera tag as a base for this tag.
I used some Tim Holtz designpaper as a background, and then I used stamps and stencils on the paper. I used my sewing machine around the edges.
As it was when these tv:s were in the shops there was various kinds of “frames”. For example tree, plastic or metal. The customers could choose from different colors and also if they wanted a black/white tv or a color tv.
I used wood veneer in various colors on some of the tv:s and metal or paper on some of the frames. I also used photos of the “test piqture” that was shown between the programmes on Swedish television when I was a child. There was only two channels to choose from, and if you wanted to change channel you had to switch on a button on the actual tv, no remote controls. đ
I don’t have the small mat box die that fits with this tv-die so I made the boxes myself.
I used overhead plastic for the glass on the tv:s.
Metallic paper for some of the antennas. And some hardware heads for the “sign”.
I used etcetra trims as shelves for the tv:s. All metallic paper used on this tag is sanded and then inked with Distress ink Scorched timber.
I will try this tag over at Simon says stamp - Monday challenge - Add some metal
Thank you very much for visiting,
/Susanne
