Birthday card with flowers

Hello again,

Another Birthday card from me. This card is made for my Dear Mother❤️.

The background on this card is inspired by the talented Tami B (Link to her blog here). She made a card for Tim’s live when the stamp set CMS490 Hodge podge was released, and I could not forget it, so I had to try.

Products used:

Watercolor cardstock

CMS490 Hodge podge, CMS479 Abstract florals, CMS488 Tid bits

Distress inks,  Archival ink, Brown acrylic paint, long fasteners, Cello sticker tape (I love that tape).

I will try this card over at Simon says stamp Monday challenge - Happy Birthday!

Thank you for visiting,

Susanne

Birthday card for a friend

Hello and welcome,

Long time since I publisehed here now.

But today I will share a birthday card for a friend who turned 60.

I started with the background, Watercolor cardstock. Inked my craft sheet with Distress Oxides in Bundled sage, Shabby shutters and Peeled paint, sprayed with water and “dipped” the card. Dried with Heat tool and repeated until happy. Used a stencil THS183 Deco feather than Distress ink Peeled paint on the stencil and some water. Then I did a mono print.

Then I used the same DI and the same stencil and used a blending tool through the stencil.

Then I used another stencil THS138 Bubbles and some crackle glaze. Inked the edges and stitched the edges with my sewing machine.

I stamped “60” with CMS483 with Hickory smoke Archival ink, then I offset the stamps and stamped with Archival ink and then used clear embossing powder. Heated with heat tool.

I stamped some images from CMS396 Field notes and CMS 448 Eccentric on the background as well.

I used CMS 463 “make a wish” stamp, Distress embossing ink and black embossing powder to make the decor circle. I fastened it with a Ideaology Tiny clip.

I stamped the one of the flowers from CMS479 Abstract florals on Watercolor paper and colored with Distress inks. Fuzzy cut and inked the edges with Scorched timber Distress ink.

I cut a piece of cardboard, inked the edges with Scorched timber DI and mounted the background. Then I used a piece of “greenish” cardstock with 3D foam between layers. Finally I made a black card base.

I will try this card over at Simon says stamp Monday challenge - Happy Birthday!
