Hello and welcome,
Half of April has passed, I must say time flies.
Today I will share a card that I have made for a collegue who will start a new job next week. It is with sadness in my mind I share this card. I have made it with Tim Holtz products and it gave me the opportunity to try the Colorize Lovestruck die.
I started with the background, cut Distress White heavystock and inked my craft mat with Distress ink Frayed burlap. Spritzed with water and dipped and dried until I was happy with the result. Then I used Tim’s 3D embossingfolder “Bothanical”. Then I took a ink blending tool, Frayed burlap ink and inked the raised areas from the embossing. Then I used the splat brush with Salvaged patina Distress paint, for some paint “splash”. I also used my sewing machine and stitched around the edges, also inked the edges with Distress ink.
Then I inked some Distress White heavystock in different colors for the Lovestruck die. Using the “dip and dry technique “. I diecut all the pieces, inked all the edges and glued them all together. For the end of the arrow I used some sanded metallic Kraftstock . I sanded and inked the edges on a Metallic sticker - Quotations, and mounted it on to the card with 3D foam.
