Birthday card for my Mother

Hello and welcome,

Time for another birthday card here in September. This time it is for my Mother.
I made a card using Tim Holtz dies, stencil, Distress ink`s, stamps and more.

  I started with the heart. I used the die Faceted heart 664156, from TH Sizzix, and cut it out from Mixed media heavystock. Then I used Distress Oxide in Candied apple, after that Disress ink in the same color. I stamped the text stamp from Entomology set CMS 328 with black Archival ink. Sprayed some Distress resist spray for some glossy details. I also sparayed some water, to get the nice drops. Weathered wood Distress ink around all the edges. I glued two hardware heads to the heart as well.

For the background I used Mixed media cardstock, and Crackle paste through a TH stencil. Painted it with Distress paint in Weathered wood and some Distress Oxide on top. Then Chipped sapphire Distress crayon on top to get the crackle more visible. Then I did some stitching it with my sewing machine. 

I took a Ideaology Baseboard frame and put some Crackle paste on random places, then Weathered wood DOX and again Chipped sapphire crayon. I used a remnant rub in the upper left corner of the frame, with No 74. Suitable, as my Mom turned 74 years. 

The flowers in the heart is from Ideaology bouquet, colored with Peeled paint DOX spray and Distress ink´s. I tied them together with a thin string.The sticker "Let´s celebrate" is an Ideology sticker Quatations.

I took some cheese cloth and colored it with Old paper DOX and then Walnut stain Distress ink, wrapped it around the frame. The greenry is from a Sizzlits die, Spring greenery. I used the same colors for the greenery as for the cheese cloth.

The Ladybug is also a stamp from Entomology set, which I diecut with the coordinating die set. colored with Distress ink, and put some Glossy accent on.

I diecut a plank from watercolor cardstock using the Planks die 662705, and colored it with Weathered wood DOX and Walnut stain Distress ink. On the plank I put a Ideaology Quotechip, which I sanded the edges on and colored with Distress crayon in Chipped sapphire,  with 3D adhesive and two hardware heads. I used Alcohol ink in Mushroom to color all the hardware heads.

I cut a panel out of Coredinations cardstock in light green, sanded and put som Crackle paste on random places and mounted card onto that. 

Then I cut a panel from an old pair of jeans and mounted the card on. Distressed the edges of the jeans fabric. Finally mounted it to a black cardblank.
